How To Maintain Health In All Seasons? Remember That Spring Nourishes The Liver And Follows The Rhythm Of The Five Internal Organs
With the coming of spring, many people around us are gradually beginning to feel sleepy and feel weak. Some of them are also prone to getting angry and losing their temper.
In fact, this has a lot to do with the liver in the body.
The ancients said that "spring and summer nourish yang", and spring corresponds to the liver .
During this period, everything in the world is growing vigorously, and the yang energy contained in the human body is also radiating outward. If you can follow this rhythm, then a lot of burden will be relieved throughout the year.
Let’s talk about my spring health care experience summarized over the years in detail.
Get up early and take a walk, follow the Yang Qi
"Nei Jing" says, "In the third month of spring, you should lie down at night and get up early, and walk in the courtyard." This means that in spring, compared to winter, you can go to bed a little later, but you must get up early.
At five or six o'clock in the morning, put on loose clothes and go for a walk downstairs or in the park.
You don’t need to walk too fast, the key is to warm up your body slowly and breathe fresh air.
Many people stay in bed until seven or eight o'clock, but feel increasingly sleepy. This is because the Yang Qi fails to rise and is suppressed in the body.
Keep getting up early and go for a walk for about a week, and you will find that your mind will become much clearer during the day, and the feeling of groggy will be significantly reduced.
Don’t exercise too vigorously, it’s just enough to sweat a little
After staying in bed for many months in winter, my body has accumulated a lot of fat and metabolic waste. It is really time to get active in spring.
But there is a misunderstanding that needs to be avoided. This misunderstanding is to run five kilometers at the beginning, and then do high-intensity exercises and sweat profusely.
In spring, the wind is strong, the pores have just opened, and sweat flows out more. Wind evil and cold evil can easily get in, which can easily lead to colds and joint pain.
I made an appointment with my family on the weekend to go for a walk in the countryside and look at the flowers and plants. My mood improved and my liver qi was relieved.
Eat the right food and help your liver
Mung bean sprouts, soybean sprouts, Chinese toon sprouts, and leeks are all seasonal goodies.
In my house, I often cook a kind of porridge. The side dish of this porridge is celery, and the celery must be chopped, and then the chopped celery and rice are boiled together. The porridge cooked in this way smells fragrant and tastes refreshing. It is particularly suitable for those with high blood pressure, or those who are particularly prone to headaches.

There is also spinach porridge. The spinach is blanched and then chopped into pieces. It has the effect of nourishing the liver and blood and moistening the intestines. If there are elderly people in the family who suffer from constipation or dry eyes, they will feel very comfortable drinking this.
Occasionally make a green onion and black bean curd soup, add a little green onion, and then a little black soybean. The body can sweat slightly, which can dissipate the cold accumulated in the body in winter.
To fight spring sleepiness , don’t just sleep
Being so sleepy that I can't keep my eyes open at two or three in the afternoon is a typical symptom of spring sleepiness.
Many people choose to sleep a little longer when they feel sleepy. They sleep for up to two hours at noon. The result is that they have difficulty falling asleep at night and become increasingly sleepy the next day.
The correct approach is: limit your nap to 20 to 30 minutes, and set an alarm so that it does not time out.
During the day, open the windows in the office or home to achieve ventilation and reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide. In this way, people will naturally become awake.
If you are really sleepy to the limit, get up and stretch your body, go to the window and look into the distance, or go downstairs and walk for five minutes. Compared with sleeping on the table, the effect is much better.
Don’t be careless in preventing diseases, pay attention to keeping warm
There is a big temperature difference in spring. Today it is 20 degrees Celsius and it may drop to 10 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
It makes sense for the older generation to say that "spring covers everything and autumn freezes".
Don't rush to take off all your thick clothes just because it's hot at noon. Especially when you go out in the morning and evening, you must carry your coat with you.
If you protect the back of your neck, navel, and ankles well, it will be difficult for wind and cold to enter.
If someone around you has a cold, you can make some ginger-date tea and drink it for two days. Choose three slices of ginger and break two or three red dates with your hands. Use it to boil water and drink it. It is simple and effective.
Maintaining health in spring is actually about following the rhythm of heaven and earth.
Go to bed early and get up early, do moderate exercise, eat seasonal meals, and don't take off your clothes in a hurry. If you implement these key points, your liver qi will naturally be relieved.
Many people live a chaotic life in spring, and when summer comes, they are prone to diarrhea and even lack of energy. In fact, the reason is that the foundation has not been well maintained in spring.
Start adjusting from now on and you will feel it clearly.
